De Amerikaanse comedian Louis C.K. won in zijn carrière diverse prijzen voor zowel zijn stand-up shows als zijn bijdrage aan diverse tv-shows. Onderandere maar liefst zes Emmy’s en twee Grammy’s voor 'beste comedyalbum’ heeft deze legende op zijn naam staan. Zijn stand-up special 'Shameless’ eindige als derde op de lijst van 'Best Stand-up Specials of All Time’ die werd samengesteld door Rolling Stone en hij was de eerste comedian ooit die Madison Square Garden in New York drie keer wist uit te verkopen.
